United spending spree done and dusted?

Remember a few months ago, when Fergie said he’d sign three players? Yeah, well, Jones, Young & completing their transfers and De Gea set to sign in the next few days, that’s three players. I know you’re all going to say that he wasn’t planning on signing Jones, but he had to, but nevertheless. It completes the 3 players.

Ryan Giggs, my idol, my hero, tarnished his reputation?

Ryan Giggs, wow. That’s a name you’d never expect to see on the tabloids for allegations of sexual activity with ex Big Brother star, Imogen Thomas, while being happily married with children? Wow, wow, wow. What to say? Ryan’s been my hero growing up, probably one of the best, if not THE best footballer I’ve ever seen wearing the sacred shirt. Since joining in 1987, he was a star to behold, bursting down the wing, and in his younger days, getting into some antics off the field too, however, Sir Alex put him in his place, and he settled down to become an amazing footballer with an unbelievable career totalling up 12 Premier League trophies, 4 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 8 Community Shields, 2 Champions League’s, a UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Gary Neville retires with immediate effect

Gary Neville has just announced his retirement from football, in immediate effect. The 35 year old United legend hasn’t played since West Brom on New Year’s Day, where he was fortunate not to get sent off – but he felt it’s time to call it a day.
