25-year-old winger, Ashley Young, has apparently agreed on personal terms and signed a £15m transfer from Aston Villa to Manchester United. (Transfer supposedly to be complete in 7 days.) With Valencia, Nani, Giggs and Park Ji-Sung all fit and in good form – many fans have been questioning why and even how we could use him to improve our squad. There are several great qualities with Young, but the one we need the most is set-pieces. When in form, Ashley Young has been known to score quite a few beautiful free kicks and can also deliver great balls from a corner – something we’ve been lacking ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Real Madrid. City fans – entertainment 24/7, all year round. We’ve had the Champions League tattoo, the Kaka tattoo, the Rooney shirt and now, this..
Ryan Giggs, wow. That’s a name you’d never expect to see on the tabloids for allegations of sexual activity with ex Big Brother star, Imogen Thomas, while being happily married with children? Wow, wow, wow. What to say? Ryan’s been my hero growing up, probably one of the best, if not THE best footballer I’ve ever seen wearing the sacred shirt. Since joining in 1987, he was a star to behold, bursting down the wing, and in his younger days, getting into some antics off the field too, however, Sir Alex put him in his place, and he settled down to become an amazing footballer with an unbelievable career totalling up 12 Premier League trophies, 4 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 8 Community Shields, 2 Champions League’s, a UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
I came across an absolutely fantastic promotion video for the Champions League final, and wanted to share it with you all, so enjoy:

Wayne Rooney took the time out to talk to Richard Keys and Andy Gray this morning on TalkSPORT after last night’s emphatic win at Old Trafford against Chelsea in the Champions League Quarter Finals. Here’s what he had to say:
Manchester United have submitted an appeal on behalf of Wayne Rooney, following the 2 match suspension. It was confirmed by the FA that his rant after his hattrick at West Ham was offensive, insulting and/or abusive, Wayne accepted the charge but has now appealed the severity of the 2 game ban.
You may know already but we’re without Park Ji-Sung, Luis Nani, Antonio Valencia and Rio Ferdinand for tomorrow’s game with Arsenal at Old Trafford in the FA Cup. What does this mean for us? Well, it means we’re without width, and we’re without our best center back [on par with Vida] in a long while. I’m concerned. Here’s some updates from Carrington and Sir Alex’ press conference on the 11th March:
