In the past few years, well, to be more specific, since 2006, United have not really spent that much in the transfer windows to invest in players for the squad. We’ve not really needed to, to be fair, but Sir Alex and co. have received much criticism because of that – investment is always necessary to move forward, and of course, the hypocritical quote from David Gill himself: ‘Debt is the road to ruin’ and with no investment, that’s certainly where the club will go. This may be the best performance I’ve ever seen from the boys in Red this evening in Germany. Manchester United totally outclassed Schalke 04 this evening in a game that ended up being 0-2 to the reds. Fantastic performance.
In the semi-final of the Champions League, you would of thought it would of been a very tight game. Not tonight, we were class. Totally dominated the Germans this evening, with 18 attempts on goal, but for Neuer, Schalke were very very disappointing.
United love to keep our stress levels up don’t they? Frustrating us for 80+ minutes with poor decision-making and crap corners, then popping up with a late goal as if to say “ha, got’cha! Just teasing!”. Beautiful bastards.
